Gnatus and Dabi Atlante announced fusion process

In early January 12th, the enterprises Gnatus and Dabi Atlante announced the fusion process of the companies. Aiming to grow in the dental segment, focusing on the international market, thus forming a stronger and more competitive company, with greater global presence.

Gnatus and Dabi Atlante are traditional companies in the dental branch, both based in Ribeirão Preto-SP.

The merger is still awaiting CADE approval (Administrative Council of economic defense). Together, after approval, the two companies will add more than 1. 100 employees, with sales estimated on R$ 300 million already in 2015, and will cover more than 150 countries.

After the approval of the fusion, the representatives of the two companies will elect an unique Board of Administration. Until that occurs, all the activities, functions and positions will remain independent.

"The merger arises from a mature process to ensure the consolidation of the two companies and enable them to enter in other segments and markets. The innovation is part of the DNA of the two companies, which will continue offering new products and services to the market", says Mr. Gilberto Nomelini, President of Gnatus.

"Despite the stiff competition, there has always been a mutual admiration between Dabi and Gnatus. With the entry of new players in the market and the international companies harassment, we feel the need to enhance our joint performances in the segment of health through a fusion", adds Mr. Pedro Biagi Neto, President of Dabi.
